Medical oncology treatments are performed by medical oncologists. Your medical oncologist will work with other doctors to create the best treatment plan for you. They will explain your cancer diagnosis to you, including the type of cancer you have and what stage it is in. They will also help you manage cancer symptoms and treatment side effects. Medical oncology has three main methods: Chemotherapy, Hormone Therapy, Immunotherapy.
